No attempt is made to alter the following information to remove or hide any "spoilers" for any episodes aired, books, comic books, and so forth.  This document covers the five seasons of Babylon 5, plus the four TNT movies and the first (and perhaps only) season of  Crusade. Moreover, it also covers all published novels, short stories (by JMS) and comics.   Published gaming materials are only referred to when they do not completely contradict other published materials.

Since most of this information is compiled from other sources, I don't feel as though I can copyright it.  Feel free to use it as you wish, within the bounds of other copyrights on this material. If you like the occasional hypothesis and supposition that I have left strewn about within, please recall where you found it since those are legally mine.

The sources used for this were the episodes and information revealed by JMS on Genie and Usenet. The codes in parentheses indicate the source.

Following Larry Nemecek's precedent for coding his Star Trek Concordances, items marked with a /v contain information based on visual clues such as computer screen displays; items marked with an /s contains information based on a script or other version of an episode. Following my own precedent, UT: indicates a Universe Today headline, and B: indicates comments overheard in background dialogue ("background walla"). Other abbreviations:

Finally, all items marked with an * are conjecture based on the information on hand, and may be further explained by a description in brackets.

Notes on Minbari Cycles:

Based on information in Babylon Squared, A Late Delivery from Avalon, Atonement, and the novel To Dream in the City of Sorrows (as well as the novel Clark's Law), it may be assumed that a Minbari Cycle is approximately 1.35 years. (The interval from July 2245 to Nov 2258 / Feb 2259 was ten cycles long).

Information on the B5 Screen saver suggests (in describing Delenn's and Lennier's ages) that a Cycle is 0.7 years. But in this case, it is more likely (based on statements regarding Delenn's age in JMSU) that the age comparison is effective age, not a literal chronological comparison.

• Shadows evolve ["They were old when even the Ancients were young" ("In the Shadow of Za'Ha'Dum"); "The first of these Ancients were the Shadows" ("Matters of Honor")].
• The First Ones, the eldest alien species evolve, those who "Walk among the stars like Giants" ("In the Shadow of Z'Ha'Dum").

c1 Million BCE

• The age of the Thirdspace device ("Thirdspace").
• The First Ones begin to disappear, some traveling beyond the stars ("In the Shadow of Za'Ha'Dum"). They leave behind the Vorlons and the Shadows to shepherd the younger species along; the Vorlons following the rigid paths of Order, while the Shadows prefer the more explosive evolutionary path of Chaos and Conflict ("Za'Ha'Dum", "Falling towards Apotheosis")
• Over the next million years there are a series of wars between the remaining "First Ones" (especially the Vorlons) and the Shadows ("The Coming of Shadows"). The Shadows are often driven from Za'Ha'Dum, but always return; Lorien says they believe they are "paying their respects" to him, though he believes that both they and the Vorlons "no longer understand" ("Shadow of Za'Ha'Dum", "Where is Mr. Garibaldi")
• The "Rules of Engagement", mediated by The First One are established between the Vorlons and The Shadows (N - Invoking Darkeness). [The date on this is unlcear, other than "eons ago", but it's likely between this time and 8000 BCE]

c500,000 BCE

• The Vindrizi are created as a species of "symbiotes" to record everything, observing events all over the galaxy so that others can learn about the past when all the records have been lost in the next dark age ("Exogenesis").

c8000 BCE

• The last Great War between the Shadows and the First Ones ("In the Shadow of Za'Ha'Dum").
• The Soul Hunters imprison the entire planet of Ragla ("River of Souls").
• Ceti 4's civilization dies out ("War Zone").

• The Vorlons visit lesser interstellar species, implanting them with the idea of glowing beings of light ("Fall of Night"). [No specific date was given, but it appears to have covered many millennia.]

c.5000 BCE

• An unknown species begins building a network of jump gates across the galaxy (N-To Dream in the City of Sorrows). [Information in OM (August 1999) suggests that this was the Vorlons].

c3750 BCE

• Rathenn uses this date to describe when the Minbari began to decline in population (C-1)[JMSC indicated that Rathenn was either mistaken or lying when he told Sinclair this].

• The Minbari begin to decline in population ("Points of Departure"). [Something begins to weaken the Minbari, "the power holding the Shadows in check." (JMSU)]

• Approximate date of the Battle of Camlan ("A Late Delivery from Avalon").

• The Minbari first begin to travel space (JMSU). They discover the ancient network of jump gates (N-To Dream in the City of Sorrows).

• Wierden, one of the last of the Taratimude forms the technomages into a cohesive group (N-Casting Shadows).
• The technomage Osiyrin studies the Drahk (N-Casting Shadows).
• A minor Centauri noble leads the extermination of  the other sentient race on their world, the Xon ("Parliament of Dreams", N - Summoning Light).  He proclaims himself as the first emperor of the  Centauri Republic ("Objects at Rest"). He receives the blessing of the technomage Frazur and two other technomages (N-Casting Shadows, "The Geometry of Shadows", N - Summoning Light).
• After the Battle of Scoria Plains, the Centauri emperor Morell visits with Malia, the prophetess of Tuwain (S-"The Shadow of His Thoughts"). [The date is given as 1200 years. Centauri years do not appear to be the same as Earth years.]

c1250

• A highly advanced space-faring society flourishes on Ikara 7. After being invaded repeatedly, they build 12 organic technology warriors to protect them ("Infection").
• The Markab and several other species appear to have some experience of Soldier's of Darkness ("Long Dark").
• The Shadows occupy a continent on Narn's Southern Hemisphere, where they are observed by G'Quon. He writes of this "Ancient Race" and their Great War at the Rim of "Known Space", centered around Za'Ha'Dum ("Revelations") in his Sacred Book. He includes pictures of Shadow Warriors and Shadow vessels ("The Long Dark", "Matters of Honor") [He manages to identify the location of the stars near Za'Ha'Dum accurately enough that G'Kar is able to trace them and visit them ("Revelations")] After the Narns start attacking the Shadows, the Shadows retaliate by killing off all the Narn "mindwalkers" (telepaths) (JSMU).
• The Taratimude technomages fight for the Shadows (N-Casting Shadows).
• On an unnamed planet, the population is subjected to the Shadow plague after denying the Shadows access to their world as a Base. The population goes into suspended animation ("Racing the Night").
• An alliance of worlds, including the few remaining First Ones (including the Vorlons) and the Minbari attack the Shadows in what will later be remembered as a Great War ("In the Shadow of Za'Ha'Dum").
• Nothing of specific significance occurs on Earth, although at least two Shadow ships crash in the Solar System (at Mars and Ganymede) ("Message from Earth").
• The Great War begins to go badly for the Minbari, et al. Their greatest 'star base' is destroyed by the Shadows. Babylon 4 is brought back from the future to serve as a as a replacement base of operations during a war between Light and Darkness, seeming to appear from out of nowhere ("Babylon Squares", "War Without End", pts 1&2). Accompanying Babylon 4 is Jeffrey David Sinclair, who undergoes the "Chrysalis" process to become Valen, a "Minbari, not Born of Minbari" ("War Without End", pt.2).
• Valen subdues the Warrior Caste, establishes the Grey Council (JMSU) as "The Chosen One"  (N-To Dream in the City of Sorrows), and establishes the Anla'Shok ("Rangers") to fight the Shadows  (N-To Dream in the City of Sorrows).
• The Alliance against the Shadows destroy 2/3ds of the Shadow forces, driving them from Za'Ha'Dum ("War Without End", pt.1).
• Valen's appearance signals that Minbari Souls are going somewhere else, "going missing" [this may be when they start to actually notice a change] ("War Without End", JMSU).
• The B4 Station survives the war, but doesn't last much longer than that (JMSU). [Actually, this is not entirely true, since it remains intact until it is discovered in 2261 (C-"In Valen's name").]
• Valen transforms the Anla'Shok into an army of watchers to keep an eye out for the return of the Shadows  (N-To Dream in the City of Sorrows).
• It is possible that Sinclair finds Catharine Sakai in the past (N-To Dream in the City of Sorrows).

1250-1350

• After the War, Valen had children. The children, fearing persecution because they weren't pure Minbari, fled Minbar until after Valen's death ("Atonement").
• Sometime during this time, the Taratimude wipe themselves out (N-Casting Shadows).   The lineage of Wierden still revive the tech from the Shadows (N-Casting Shadows).

• The Shadows bury their capitols ships in preparation for the next War, including one on Mars, and one on Ganymede (JMSM).

• ????   The technomage Gali-Gali defeats the menace of the Zrad, and serves at the right hand of the Empress Nare for a century of peace (N-Casting Shadows).
• ????   The technomage Maju seals the Lau hyperspace rift at the cost of his own life (N-Casting Shadows).
• ????   The technomage Kwa-Kiri ruled an empire (N-Casting Shadows).
• ????   The technomage Neldonic ruled an empire (N-Casting Shadows).

• Valen writes notes to Delenn and Sinclair ("War Without End", pt.1, JMSU).
• Valen "Goes Beyond" (JMSU, N-To Dream in the City of Sorrows); his body is never found ("Atonement") [Foreshadowing Sheridan's end ("Sleeping in Light").
• The Children of Valen return to Minbar and have children of their own, spreading human genes through the Minbari population for the next thousand years ("Atonement").

• The modern Hyach records extend no earlier than this point. The Hyach-Doh are extinct by this time ("Secrets of the Soul").

• An ancient species dies out, first building, then leaving Varn as Guardian of the Great Machine of Epsilon 3 ("Voice in the Wilderness", pt.2, "War Without End", pt.2).
• Minbari clan Third Fane of Chudomo begins service with honor ("Parliament of Dreams").

• August-November   "Jack the Ripper" terrorizes London's East End.
• 11 November   On the morning after the last of the Ripper Murders, the Vorlons abduct "Sebastian", of 14-B Harrisburg Lane, to determine if he is truly the "Chosen One". When it is determined that he is not, they retain him to act as their "Inquisitor" ("Comes the Inquisitor").

• The Centauri invade the Vega [Beta?] System, conquered in only 9 days. ("The Gathering")

1940

• 14 November   The Germans bomb Coventry ("In the Shadow of Za'Ha'Dum").

• Aliens begin to capture Humans for various research purposes ("Grail"/v, "All Alone in the Night"/v). [The Date is an estimate. The "Gray" styles of aliens shown suggests that not all the contact reports we've had so far have been hoaxes. Although they appear to be similar to the Streib, (JMSU) has been pretty specific that they are not the same species. It may be that these are the Vree.]
• The Centauri begin using telepaths in military intelligence ("The Paragon of Animals").

• 12 April   Yuri Gagarin orbits the Earth in Vostok 1 ("The Illusion of Truth").

• April    The Soviet probe Mars 1 loses communication with Earth while traveling to Mars (JMSM).
• 13 June   Mars 1 silently makes the first flyby of a terrestrial probe past Mars (JMSM).

• 14 July   The American probe Mariner 4 flies past Mars, taking pictures (JMSM).

• 14 November   Mariner 9 begins its study of Mars (JMSM).

• 19 June   Viking 1 enters Mars orbit (JMSM).

• The USS Copernicus, a deep range exploration ship is launched (Will and Mariah Sirrus) ("Long Dark").

• Solis Planum is designated the site for Mars One, the first Martian colony (JMSM).
• The Chaipas Incident. 100 rogue telepaths martyr themselves, by burning themselves to death in a church, rather than submit to the MRA (N-Dark Genesis).

• The religion of Foundationism established (JMSU). [Initially JMS said by the end of the 20th C, but later, after first contact.]

• 7 April   The Centauri contact the Earth Alliance, claiming that Earth is a lost Centauri Colony. ("The Gathering", "The Long Dark", JMSU, N-Dark Genesis). [In ("The Long Dark") this is referred to as "over a hundred years ago"] They lease the humans time on their jump gates, and eventually humanity is able to build jump gates of their own.
• Fiona Davion is born to Ninon Davion and Lee Crawford's assistant Kevin Vacit (N-Dark Genesis).
• Internal Security Act establishes the Psi Corps from the MRA and the Mix (N-Voices). The first administrator of the Psi Corps is Lee Crawford. He is assassinated on his way to meet the first Centauri Ambassador (N-Dark Genesis).
• At some point after this Kevin Vacit becomes Director of the Psi Corps (N-Dark Genesis).

• 15 November   The Mars Colony main dome is destroyed in a sneak attack by Earth Isolationist terrorists, which kills 487 people, including John Carter ("Midnight on the Firing Line", JMSM). [The Free Mars group has members who have been on Mars for a century. While there was a disruption in the civilian population, since the colony is described as permanent, this implies that some colonists, and perhaps the military occupation remained in place.]

Enraged over the death of Dukhat, Delenn gives the order that starts the Earth-Minbari War. The Minbari ships open fire, and a number of the Earth ships are destroyed. When it is learned that he was killed, they take off and pursue the ships back to an Earth base. [Based on Kranz's statements to Sinclair, I assume that this is when the station's "Time Track" system begins to go haywire.] Cloaked by the EMP burst from the destroyed Shadow bomb, the White Star lands on the station, punches through the hull and the landing teams split up ("War Without End", pt.1). A false Hull Breach warning frees up the area of B4 connecting to the Power Core to the White Star teams. After Zathras sees Sheridan reappear once, he sets up a "blue suit" to help contain the Captain. He reappears and remains. Sheridan and Sinclair head into the central power core to finish stabilizing the Station while Ivonova begins rigging a false reading to convince the B4 Crew that their core was unstable. Noting that there is a drop in power production, Major Kranz orders an increase of power. This triggers the Time Travel mechanism. Sheridan is again lost in time. ("War Without End", pt.2). A single shuttle, carrying "Jinxo" leaves the station in time to see B4 vanish ("Grail").

[During the next nine hours, Sheridan reappears at least once, and is seen by B4 personnel, including Kranz.] At least nine hours after B4 arrives in this time, seven ships, led by Garibaldi and Sinclair arrive from B5. Zathras is captured, and Major Kranz is alerted to his presence before Sinclair and Garibaldi arrive [Kranz suggests that Zathras' capture took place *before* "all hell broke loose"]. *Time Flash* (Garibaldi defending the station). Delenn finds Sheridan and changes time stabilizers with him and dons the space suit. Zathras meets Sinclair and Sheridan. The disappearance of B4 is apparently explained by Zathras, as the station is pulled from the past "to be used as a base in a Great War between Light and Darkness". Zathras claims to be from "4993" (in some unidentified dating system"). Ivanova takes over C&C as the evacuation of the station proceeds. "The One" appears, and Zathras hands over the repaired stabilizer [Zathras implies that "The One" is somehow focusing all the energies of the Time Transfer through his body, protected only by the stabilizer] *Time Flash* (Garibaldi on Mars). Sheridan is found by Marcus. Zathras is pinned beneath a beam, reveals to Sinclair that he has "a Destiny". The evacuation ships depart. Sinclair tries to warn Garibaldi. • 12 December   N-Clark's Law [Date is an estimate] Tuchanq delegation arrives on Babylon 5. Mollari tries to convince the Tuchanq to accept Centauri assistance in exchange for permitting a Centauri force to remain on their moon. The Tuchanq are suspicious and decide to wait a bit. One Tuchanq, D'Arc, is stunned and goes insane, killing a visiting human. Earthdome decides that this is to be the first time death sentence is applied, and sends an executioner [Aboard a ship that clearly takes too little time to arrive]. G'Kar attacked in core shuttle by Lurkers wearing Changeling nets to look like Tuchanq. Defeats them and kills all but one. Executioner killed accidentally. EarthGov makes Sheridan judge, jury & executioner. G'Kar tries to kill Mollari, after learning he was behind the attack. Morden saves both Garibaldi's and Mollari's lives (N-Clark's Law).
• 13 December   D'Arc is sentenced to death. Sheridan & Garibaldi fake the execution and send D'Arc onto the Tuchanq ship. A riot breaks out during the execution, hundreds wounded and more than 50 people are killed. The Tuchanq decide to accept Centauri offer.

• 24 December   Lantz and Welles arrive on B5. The Narn war cruiser, G'Tok, arrives very late at night and seeks sanctuary at Babylon 5. [Lantz refers to the Solstice celebrations in Geneva as though it was something he didn't want to miss. Sheridan refers to someone at EarthDome having read his report about the Centauri problem, implying a bit of time to send it and have it possibly read].
• The EAS Eratosthenes, A Wells Fargo jump gate laying ship, captain Johannes Varese, is destroyed by Shadow ships in Sector 913 (N-Clark's Law).
• 25 December   Ivanova is approached by Welles. Sheridan tells G'Kar about the G'Tok. Meeting of the Nightwatch. G'Tok's engines off-line.
• In response to the execution of D'Arc, the EA Senate votes to end Capitol Punishment (N-Clark's Law).
• 26 December   The Centauri learn about the G'Tok and send a Battle cruiser. The Battle cruiser is destroyed by the Station. While escorting the G'tok to safety, Keffer finds a trace of a Shadow Ship. Keffer is killed, but not until he had ejected his flight recorder. On his way to an official apology to the Centauri, Sheridan is almost blown up. Kosh reveals himself to save Sheridan.
• 27 December   Earth-Centauri Non-Aggression Pact announced. [Note: JMS suggested strongly that this occurred on or about the Solstice, which is why I have placed it here]

Cole meets with Delenn and Sheridan. Endawi meets with ambassadors. They leave the station to go to Zagros 7.
• 7 January   Delenn and Sheridan return to the station, just as Endawi is leaving [Assuming only one day's travel to Zagros 7 and a day back].
• 8 January   War Council established.
• 11 January   Endawi reports to Senator [This could take place as late as the 20th, depending on how long it took the White Star to travel to Zagros 7.].
• Engineering and Maintenance hire Richard Carlson ("Convictions").

• 16 January   Convictions [Dates are estimates] Various alien missionaries arrive at the station. Brother Theo and his monks arrive at the station. A series of Bombs rock the station. Lennier is nearly killed by a bomb when he saves Londo and Delenn's lives.
• 17 January   Sheridan and Garibaldi catch the Bomber. Londo and G'Kar are freed from their elevator.
• 20 January   A Day in the Strife [Dates are estimates] Transport Pilots' Association complaining about increased time for inspection, due to increased weapons searches. Narn Councilor Na'far arrives to replace G'Kar, because the Centauri think he's building a resistance. Ta'Lon ("All Alone in the Night") is with him, as his bodyguard. Garibaldi notices indications of Franklin's stim habit in Earhart's. An alien probe arrives and gives them 24 hours to provide answers to a 'test'. Mollari asks Delenn to help arrange for Vir to be sent to Minbar to work in the Centauri Diplomatic mission, empty for several years. Na'far tries to convince G'Kar to leave.
• 21 January   A group of Narns meet Na'Far. Attempt to kill him, and G'Kar stops them by agreeing to go back. With all the answers ready, Sheridan figures out that the probe is actually there to destroy anyone who might be advanced enough to be a threat. Ta'Lon and the others convince G'Kar to stay. Garibaldi & Franklin meet in Earhart's again. Franklin lies about not having used stims during the whole probe incident. Sheridan meets with the Transport Pilots' Association. Vir leaves for Minbar.
• 25 January   Passing through Gethsemane [Dates are estimates] Theo beats Sheridan in a chess game. Lyta Alexander returns to the station. [Lyta left a month ago. She hung out on the edge of Vorlon space for 3 days, and then stayed behind in a life pod. 5 days later, she was found and brought to the Vorlon home world. She'll be working for Kosh from now on.]
• 26 January   Brother Edward discovers a Black Rose in his bag. Edward returns to his quarters, and finds 'Death Walks Among You' painted in what looks like blood on his wall. He brings Garibaldi in to see it, but it is gone. Brother Edward interviews Delenn & Lennier about their beliefs. He heads back to his room, and after bumping into a Centauri, he has flashbacks of memories about things he doesn't remember doing.
• 27 January   Edward disappears. Lyta probes the Centauri & finds out where they are. One of them kills Edward.
• 7 February   Lyta returns from Kosh's Mission. "Brother Malcolm" is sent to Earth.
• c13 February   Voices of Authority [Dates are estimates] The War Council decided to try and contact the First Ones. G'Kar starts prying into Ranger activities. Sheridan meets with Julie Musante his political officer. Ivanova meets with Draal and comes up with evidence of Clark's complicity in President Santiago's death.
• c14 February   Ivanova and Marcus meet the "Walkers of Sigma 957". Sheridan turns the evidence over to General Hague.
• c15 February   Musante recalled to Earth as the Evidence is revealed. G'Kar gives Garibaldi the Book of G'Quon.

• c22 February   Vir returns to the station (from Minbar). Bester arrives at B5. He takes "The Sleepers" (it's been established, notably in "Mind War" that a dose of the "Sleepers" lasts for a week). G'Kar attacks Londo. G'Kar's Revelation.
• c27 February   G'Kar's trial. G'Kar sentenced to no less than 60 days (8 1/2 weeks) incarceration for assaulting Londo [Date based on G'Kar's being released in ("Point of No Return")]
• c29 February   Vir recalled to Minbar [Londo looks like he's had a few days to recover from his beating]. Bester leaves [n.b. 2260 is a leap year].
• c4 March   Mary Kirkish is called in to a dig on Ganymede, where a shadow vessel has been dug up ("Messages from Earth").
• 11 March   Exogenesis [Dates are estimates] A ship arrives with some Vindrizi symbiotes. Lt (J.G.) David Corwin is promoted to full Lieutenant. Sheridan asks Ivanova to find out whether or not they can trust Corwin enough to bring him into the War Council. Marcus receives info from a Ranger. "Ranger 1" recommends that the Rangers go on heightened state of alert and pull back from Earth space, due to what's happening back home. A 'package' Marcus wants just left Mars, and should arrive in a week. [The date is based on the assumption that the 'package' is Dr. Kirkish].
• 12 March   Marcus talks Franklin into going with him to investigate disappearances of people. Marcus & Franklin are taken prisoner by the Vendrizi. Corwin visits Ivanova. Franklin & Marcus agree to let the Vendrizi go on with their mission. Duncan can't take another back in - it would harm him.
• 13 March   Ivanova tells Sheridan Corwin won't work out. Duncan decides to leave B5, to try and see the things he saw when he was joined with the Vendrizi.

(Date is an estimate based on dates of ("Sic Transit Vir") and ("Ship of Tears").] Arthur, King of the Britons, comes to Babylon 5 to give the sword Excalibur to the Lady of the Lake. The Babylon 5 Treaty, for the mutual defense of B5 is signed by a number of members of the former league of Non-Aligned Worlds. David McIntyre is sent to work with the Narn resistance.
• c20 July   Ship of Tears [Date is approximate] Bester arrives at B5 wanting to stop a shipment of weapons components being shipped to the Shadows. These components consist of biotechnologically altered telepaths.
• 24 July   The Shadows begin to invade a number of alien systems ("Ship of Tears", "Interludes and Examinations").
• 27 July   Kosh "goes to ground" ("Interludes and Examinations").
• 28 July   Earthforce begins campaign to "liberate" Mars ("The Illusion of Truth")
• 3 August   Interludes and Examinations Sheridan convinces Kosh to arrange for a Vorlon fleet to help defeat the Shadows attacking the Brakiri. Adira is poisoned while on her way to Babylon 5 to be reunited with Londo. This drives Londo back to Morden.

• 2 January   The Hour of the Wolf ["7 days after ...?"] [How Ivanova/Delenn/and Lyta reach Za'Ha'Dum and return so quickly is a mystery.]
• 4 January   What Ever Happened to Mr. Garibaldi? ["9 days" after Sheridan's attack on Za'Ha'Dum; Franklin is explicit about the length of time since Garibaldi's disappearance. JMSU clarified that the voice over should have said "14 days" after Sheridan's departure for Za'Ha'Dum.] G'Kar leaves to search for Mr. Garibaldi. [Garibaldi is given to the Psi Corps by the Shadows. They take him to a secret facility on Mars, where Bester intervenes and adds some programming of his own. Bester is aware that some kind of action is being planned against the Corps, but he didn't know what or by whom. Given Garibaldi's proven track record at ferreting out conspiracies, Bester instructs his colleagues to leave Garibaldi's personality largely intact, and to accentuate his natural sense of paranoia and distrust. Garibaldi's mission is to gather information about the threat to the Psi Corps if the opportunity arose, then signal Bester. ("The Face of the Enemy")]
• 17 January   The Summoning [Delenn says that it's "two weeks after Garibaldi vanished".] Zack discovers Garibaldi. Delenn's plan to attack the Shadows runs into trouble. Ivanova and Marcus attempt to solicit aid from more First Ones. Sheridan returns from the dead, bringing with him the alien Lorien.
• January   Personal Agendas Garibaldi, Ivanova and Franklin travel to Centauri Prime to try to release G'Kar.

Thirdspace The crew finds an alien artifact in hyperspace [This episode, based on internal evidence, takes places during the episode "Atonement"].
• Mid June   Racing Mars (2 weeks after "Atonement") Franklin and Marcus arrive on Mars
• Mid June   Lines of Communication (3 days) Shadow remnants begin attacking shipping. Franklin and Marcus try to convince the leaders of the resistance to go along with Sheridan's plan to unseat Clark. Delenn investigates a series of attacks on Minbari allies. She discovers the Drakh. Minbar begins to slide toward civil war Sheridan prepares to broadcast news with Ivanova on the "Voice of the Resistance".
• Early July   Conflicts of Interests [Roughly 2 weeks after "Lines of Communication"] Garibaldi takes on a new job. "Voice of the Resistance", the resistance's counter-propaganda broadcasts begin. Sheridan proposes a plan to protect the Non-Aligned Worlds from raiders.
• Mid July   Rumors, Bargains and Lies Sheridan tricks the League of Non-Aligned Worlds into accepting his proposed defense pact. The League of non-Aligned Worlds agrees to give the White Star fleet authority to operate as a police force along its borders. Delenn tries to work with Neroon to defuse a brewing Minbari civil war.
• 2 August   *Moments of Transition The warrior caste demands Delenn's surrender to end the Civil War. Bester makes an offer to an increasingly desperate Lyta. A Starfury squadron defects to the Resistance at Proxima 3.
• 3 August   Delenn forms a new Grey Council, with the worker caste holding 5 of the 9 positions. The position of leader is reserved for "The One who is to come." Unable to find work, Lyta has rejoined the Psi Corps "in name only". Sheridan is compelled to act after receiving a recording of an EarthForce destroyer destroying refugee ships from Ivanova ("Moments of Transition"/v) [The original aired footage shows this to be the Agamemnon, but JMSU says this was an error that should be corrected later.]
• 2 September   No Surrender, No Retreat Sheridan's forces liberate Proxima 3. Londo tries to enlist G'Kar's aid in backing Sheridan against Earth. Garibaldi leaves the station for Mars, intending to never return.
• c3 September   Sheridan's forces have liberated the colony at Beta Durani, as well as a midrange military outpost ("The Exercise of Vital Powers").
• c5 September   The Exercise of Vital Powers [Date is an estimate] Garibaldi arrives on Mars to meet with Edgars. Lyta accidentally awakens one of the implanted telepaths rescued from the Shadows. Garibaldi is interrogated by Edgars and a telepath.
• October?   Franklin and Lyta test her ability to wake up the implanted telepaths. After observing the effect of her mental contact with them, Franklin devises an artificial equivalent and feels he's well on his way to reviving them.
• Late November   The Face of the Enemy [Date is an estimate] Sheridan's search for his father leads him into danger on Mars. Lyta warns Franklin of an impending clash between telepaths and "Normals". Garibaldi learns of a threat against the Telepaths, and Bester's people wipe out Edgars and his threat. Garibaldi gets his mind back.
• Mid-Late November   Intersections in Real Time [Date is an estimate - Begins about 2-3 days after "The Face of the Enemy". This episode *appears* to take 4-5 days, but given the nature of the torture, there is no real reason to believe what is actually said -- however, based on the healing of the wounds on Sheridan's face, and the speed of his beard's growth, it's not implausible]. Sheridan is tortured.
• Late November (Day 1)   Between the Darkness and the Light Garibaldi is captured by the Mars Resistance [According to Lyta, this takes places "less than a week" since Sheridan's capture]. Ivanova and the White Star fleet defeat the Orion and the Damocles, and learn that Clark has set a trap at the rendezvous point in sector 300.
• Late November (Day 2)   Garibaldi, Franklin and Lyta rescue Sheridan [According to Lyta, this takes places "over than a week" since Sheridan's capture]. Ivanova and the White Star fleet battles Clark's "advanced Destroyer" forces (built from Shadow technology). Ivanova is mortally injured.
• Late November (Day ?)   Sheridan reaches the fleet rendezvous point, and visits Ivanova. She asks him to lead the final battle for Earth from the bridge of the Agamemnon [there is no way to tell how long it took Sheridan to get from Mars to the the rendezvous point. Since he appears to arrive on a Minbari flyer, it may not have been a direct route].
• 1 December   Endgame Sheridan and his fleet disable the Mars Fleet by unleashing the Shadow-modified telepaths, then proceeds towards Earth (JMSM). Marcus learns of the alien healing device, and abandons the fleet about to attack Earth.

Earth Government is re-established. Marcus hooks himself and Ivanova into the alien healing device [n.b. *White Star ships* seem to be able to make it from Earth to B5 in under 24 hours.] Sheridan surrenders to EarthGov.
• 3 December   Rising Star Susanna Luchenko of the Russian Consortium becomes EarthGov President. She and Sheridan come to an arrangement. Hearing that the Regent is dying, Londo is requested to return to Centauri Prime. Delenn presents to the League of Non-Aligned Worlds a proposition for an Interstellar Alliance.
• 4 December   Garibaldi continues to search for Lise Hampton-Edgars.
• 5 December   EarthGov grants Sheridan's officers amnesty. Sheridan resigns from EarthForce. Delenn announces the formation of the Interstellar Alliance to EarthGov and invites them to join. Sheridan is named President of the new Alliance.
• 7 December   Sheridan negotiates an agreement to free Mars from Earth rule (JMSM). Ivanova is promoted to Captain and is assigned to a new Warlock Class destroyer. Sheridan and Delenn are married in a private ceremony on a White Star ship heading back to Babylon 5.

• 2 January   ISN program "Night Side" discusses the recent events ("The Deconstruction of Falling Stars").
• January   No Compromises [Date is an estimate] Captain Elizabeth Lochley arrives on Babylon 5, to take command of the (still independent) Babylon 5. A colony of Telepaths on Babylon 5 arrive seeking sanctuary. Sheridan is nearly assassinated at his inauguration by Major John Clemens, former commander of the Beta 7 prison under Clark.
• January   The Very Long Night of Londo Mollari [Date is an estimate] Londo suffers a serious heart attack and nearly dies Lennier leaves Delenn's service to join the Rangers.
• February   The Paragon of Animals G'Kar drafts a Declaration of Principles for the Alliance. Garibaldi convinces Sheridan to ask Byron's refugee telepaths to join his intelligence operations. The Raiders attacking the Imphili world on the edge of Drazi space are destroyed by the White Star Fleet. The Drazi complicity is uncovered.
• 3 March   EarthGov declares Mars independent (JMSM).
• March   A View from the Gallery [Date is an estimate] An unknown alien species attacks the station after attacking the Gaim.
• April   Learning Curve [Date is an estimate] Turval and Durhan, Ranger masters, bring two Ranger- trainees to the station. Trace is attempting to fill n'Grath's role in the Station's criminal network.
• May   Strange Relations [Date is an estimate] Bester arrives to try to retrieve the refugee telepaths. Garibaldi confronts Lochley. Delenn chooses G'Kar as a bodyguard for Londo.
• May   The Day of the Dead [Date is an estimate] Some of the crew are caught with the Brakiri as they celebrate their "Day of the Dead," a remembrance of the recently deceased. A pair of famous entertainers visits the station.
• Ear June   Secrets of the Soul [Date is an estimate] Franklin discovers the Hyach's secret about the Hyach-doh. Byron learns of the Vorlon's interference with telepath evolution from Lyta.
• Ear June   In the Kingdom of the Blind [Date is an estimate - Starts the day after Byron's learning about the Vorlons.] Byron's telepaths present the Interstellar Alliance with an ultimatum. Londo and G'Kar as his bodyguard visit Centauri Prime.
• 16 June   A Tragedy of Telepaths (was Cat and Mouse) The telepath situation continues to deteriorate. Lochley calls Bester for help. The attacks on Alliance ships continue. Londo and G'Kar find an Na'Toth in the underground cells in the Imperial Palace.
• 17 June   Londo and G'Kar help Na'Toth to escape. The Telepaths begin to fight.
• 18 June   Bester's "bloodhound" unit arrives.
• Late June   Phoenix Rising [Date is an estimate] The telepath situation becomes critical. Bester arrives on the station to take control. Garibaldi is not able to kill him, and crawls back into the bottle.
• July   The Ragged Edge [Date is an estimate] Garibaldi visits the Drazi home world in his quest to find the source of the mysterious attacks on Alliance ships. His alcoholism nearly ruins the mission.
• August   The Corps is Mother, The Corps is Father [Date is an estimate] Bester and two novice telepaths follows a rogue telepath to Babylon 5.
• September   Meditations on the Abyss [Date is an estimate] Lennier is assigned to White Star 27, "Maria", to investigate possible Centauri involvement in the attacks on Alliance Ships. Londo selects Vir to succeed him as Ambassador to B5.
• September   Darkness Ascending [Date is an estimate] Lennier witnesses the Centauri destruction of a Brakiri group of ships. Lyta strikes a bargain with G'Kar for ships for her telepath rebels, in exchange for telepath DNA.
• October   And All My Dreams, Torn Asunder [Date is an estimate] The Alliance examine evidence that the Centauri have been behind the attacks. They ostracize and blockade the Centauri Republic. The Centauri withdraw from the Alliance. G'Kar and Londo Mollari both leave Babylon 5 and return to Centauri Prime, leaving Vir as Ambassador to B5. Again Garibaldi's alcoholism leads to a disaster. The Interstellar Alliance declares war on the Centauri Republic. Mollari and G'Kar are both imprisoned.
• October   Movements of Fire and Shadow [Date is an estimate] Sheridan authorizes the White Star fleet to engage the Centauri if they attack any Alliance ships. He asks the Grey Council to release the technology to build White Star ships to Earth to help supplement the fleet. Delenn and Lenier are attacked, and the remains of their ship are left to drift in space. Lyta and Franklin visit the Drazi home world at Vir's request. It is determined that the Centauri ships attacking the Alliance have been uninhabited, piloted by Shadow technology. The Drazi and Narn mount an assault on the Centauri home world. The Regent has left the planet defenseless.
• November   The Fall of Centauri Prime [Date is an estimate] Centauri Prime is decimated by the combined Narn/Drazi fleet. Regent... dies. Londo is made Emperor, and lays the blame on the whole war on the Regent. He voluntarily takes a "keeper" based on the threat that the Drahk will destroy the planet if he doesn't. The Centauri surrender. Londo is enthroned as Emperor ("The Coming of Shadows", N-The Long Night of Centauri Prime (pt.1)). The Shadows allies flee to Centauri Prime ("War Without End", pt.1). Delenn and Lenier are rescued.
• November   The Long Night of Centauri Prime (pt.1) [Date is an estimate] Londo takes in Senna, daughter of Lord Refa, as his ward. He begins rebuilding Centauri Prime, under the watchful eye of his Keeper.
• ????    "The Shadow of his Thoughts" [A week after Londo is enthroned.]
• December   Wheel of Fire [Date is an estimate] Sheridan places Garibaldi under suspension until he can overcome his drinking problem. A number of Psi Corps facilities have been attacked by rogue telepaths leaving the message "Remember Byron". Lyta is placed under arrest. She makes a deal with Garibaldi for his assistance. Delenn is pregnant. G'Kar and Lyta prepare to leave Babylon 5 together.
• December   Objects in Motion [Date is an estimate] The Martian rebel leader, Number one, whose real name is Tessa Holloran, replaces Garibaldi as head of security for the Interstellar Alliance. An assassin is sent to kill Lise Edgars and Garibaldi. Lyta and G'Kar leave B5.
• December   Objects at Rest [Date is an estimate] Ta'Lon is named as G'Kar's successor as Ambassador to Babylon 5. The headquarters of the Interstellar Alliance moves to Minbar. Lenier has a moment of weakness, and flees in humiliation. Dr. Hobbs becomes Chief of Staff of Medlab, when Franklin leaves for Earth. Garibaldi returns to Mars, and takes over Edgars Industries. Londo gives a gift to Sheridan and Delenn for their son, an urn with a hidden Keeper.
